Startx SRL is a software company based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, specializing in open source solutions.

We develop software for embedded and mobile devices and desktops, building on years of experience in contributing to open source projects such as Ubuntu, GNOME, Xfce, the Linux kernel and eCos.

As we strongly believe that open source software is beneficial to users and to society as a whole, we develop, maintain and support an Ubuntu derived Linux distribution made for Romania called Kiwi that is freely available for anyone.

Oct 22 2007: Kiwi Linux 7.10 has been released.

Sep 15 2007: The first Software Freedom Day event in Romania will be held in Cluj.

Aug 31 2007: Kiwi Linux 7.08 has been released.
